There needs to be more dungeons of all sizes, levels of difficulty and shapes. I was hoping to find a dungeon in Pockmark Flats when I first travelled there. With all them ruined bits all over the place it looked like a prime location for a dungeon.

Also in the desert you see those jobbys that look like entrances to tombs or somesuch... but they're blocked. Meh.

As for the Catacombs, they should open up an olde part and add a new section for post-searing. I said that before tho...

Also a few more caves would be nice too. For some reason the simplest of 'dungeon' areas seem to be quite rare even tho GW has prime cave locations throughout. Id like to walk through a waterfall and find some murky grotto....

There should be some sort of dungeon at King's Watch.... perhaps a Tomb of The Ascalon Kings.

...and I want to drop giant crystals on the Charr but thats anouther story.

Plus, in the dungeons, they need to add in the REALLY REALLY REALLY hard monsters (like Glint)... I'd like to see a lvl 35+ in these things like a Planetoid or something that takes real strategy and team work to take down.

gees, why does everyhting have to be a hard ass?

whats wrong with a lesurely stroll through a underground area? simply for the joy of the dark corners or the shafts of sunlight breaking through the roof?
if ye want a hard-as-nails dragon in there, at least make it check you have acended, got infused and then teleport ye to a secret area, so the rest of us can just enjoy our mid day strolls

Exactly. Dungeons should be a mix of hard, easy, small and supersized. Mix em up and you won't know what to expect. Some have quests tied in and others are just there waiting for you to find without some NPC's giving away thier existance.

true, but we dont realy want a guild wars version of temple of elemental evil, now, do we ^^

(one of two or three notorious DnD game adventures. often in conventions, they use them as a running game and outside the hall, there is a List of the dead.....which just gets longer, and longer and longer.... they are harder than a brass monkey is cold when in siberia hehe)

I loved the Catacombs, they looked cool as all hell (amazing artwork, I have screenshot from the Catacombs as my wallpaper) and it was a nice escape from the sunny above world. A shame it had to leave us.

I find myself surprised and amazed at the art work in pre-searing but nothing in post-searing seems to stands out like the old sunny rolling hills of Ascalon do.

i loved catacombs too.. i am sure, ppl like me expect to see dungeons in the near future.. it seems like a waste we leave catacombs in pre-searing.. i like the maze-like stracture in it..

Since the thread is ressed I must say hooray for the catacombs and dungeons alike. I do however think it would be cool if they made events/quests for us to open up the dungeons not simply add em in on a silver plater. In that way we could get a more substantial feeling of us (players with our own characters) influencing the land we live in )
